Allorn app privacy policy
Allorn app privacy policy. Version 5 October 2026. This policy covers the free Allorn app (career and money tools for adults aged 18 or over). It does not cover the Allorn shop or the Teddy children's games, which have their own information.
Who is responsible

What information, and why
You choose what to enter: profile details, experience, education, documents, job links, interview answers, debts, savings goals and plans. It is used only to run your workspace, create your documents and perform the AI tasks you request. Writing templates and all calculations work without any AI service. We do not use your information for marketing, advertising or profiling, and we do not sell it. The app uses no analytics, no advertising pixels, no cookies and no external fonts.
The intended legal basis for providing the service you ask for is contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
Where your information is
Your workspace is stored on your own device, in the app's local storage. Allorn has no customer database of CVs, finances or profiles, and no account system. By default your work is saved automatically on the device; in Settings you can choose temporary mode, where work disappears when the app is reloaded or closed. "Delete all local data" in Settings removes it.
AI (optional)
"Improve with AI" is optional. Before anything is sent you see and can edit the text. Only the material you approve is sent through our hosting server (Vercel) to OpenAI, and the answer appears in your workspace. We do not intentionally save CVs, prompts or responses on our server. Hosting security logs may contain request metadata. To apply the daily free allowance we store, with Upstash in Frankfurt, hashed network addresses, random device identifiers and usage counters for up to 24 hours. This contains no CV text. OpenAI states that API data is not used for model training by default and that content may be retained for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring. Processing exclusively inside the EU/EEA is not promised. Do not enter personal identity numbers, passwords, patient information, information about children or other sensitive data.
PDF export
PDFs are created on your device. On iPhone a temporary file is created in the app cache and your device's share sheet opens so you choose where it goes.
How long
Work you save stays on your device until you delete it or remove the app. There is no scheduled deletion. Server-side usage counters expire after 24 hours. Material already sent to an AI provider cannot be recalled by deleting it locally.
Your rights
You can correct, export and delete your information in the app's Settings. You may also request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability, or object to processing, by emailing kim@allorn.shop; we normally reply within one month. You can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
Age and advice
The app is for adults aged 18 or over. The career and money tools give general information and calculations, not personal financial, legal, tax or employment advice.
Changes
If this policy changes, the version date above will change. If tracking is ever added, it will need a new assessment and, where required, your separate choice first.
